Future design that has already begun 

Globally, COVID-19, as a problem of the times that goes beyond a simple medical issue, has posed great challenges in various fields such as non-face-to-face technology, urban environment, culture and art, and virtual economy.

In 2022 at the time of entering the ontact era after passing through COVID-19 Pandemic, the 2022 KIYFE International Design Competition for Youth Space is an important event to confirm the new urban environment and media paradigm through various ideas and designs of youth around the world.

As we face a new extended reality where physical real space and digitally constructed virtual space are converge through hyper connection, hyper realism, and artificial intelligence in the era of the 4th industrial revolution, media is also evolving into a metaverse platform where various people participate and experiences are shared based on realistic technology and a communication environment without delay. In particular, Generation MZ and Generation Alpha who are familiar with digital and artificial intelligence and have an excellent sense of reality have emerged as new principle players in the Ontact era.

The new principle players, urban environment, and media demand a new design that can give a unique experience.

You are the principle player of the future!

Youth around the world should design urban environments and media that you like and need in a new era. The world that youth yourselves need is ‘design of the future that has already begun’.
